Were you from Henry Park?
If you are, chances are you probably would have been schooled in the merits of the arts by a very distinguished lady known as Mrs Jenny Kow.
Mrs Kow has sinced passed on, but the alumni members of Henry Park will be keeping her memory alive with the Jenny Kow Arts Fund. This fund will be used to support the school’s arts-related programmes.
And just in case you didn’t know, Mrs Jenny Kow has a fairly well-known daughter who also passed through the gates of Henry Park (class of ‘88). Currently heard in the mornings on 91.3FM with her accomplice, Joe Augustin, she’s none other than… (know who I’m talking about yet?)
Petrina talks about the Jenny Kow Arts fund:
Petrina and her family have lent their full support to this project, and she’ll be speaking at the launch of the fund at the 9th Alumni Anniversary Day, at 10am this Saturday (7 Oct). Venue: … where else, Henry Park Primary lor! As an ‘old boy’/'old girl’, you might want to head down to show your support, or alternatively, show it via a cheque made out to the “Henry Park Primary School Alumni Association” (write “For the Jenny Kow Arts Fund” on the back). Send all cheques to “Henry Park Primary School Alumni Association, 1 Holland Grove Road, Singapore 278290″.

Petrina, and her mum, Mrs Jenny Kow
And I don’t even think you need to be an alumnus to donate to this worthy cause.
