" It was indeed a treat to feast on all 20 short-listed entries for this year's contest. 20 different styles, personalities and ideas; each with their unique allure and strengths. 

From how I would pen my own blog entries,blogging should be kept candid, casual and unpretentious. I appreciate entries with positive vibes which can be obvious from either in a subtle form from the writer's style (and lingo) or from the topic itself. But it should never come across as over-bearing or hard to swallow. Blogging in itself, is an emotional outlet for the writer to voice his opinions, inspire or to share something he feels for.

Many a times, most people rack their minds on what to write, how to write and the end result of such initiative could just end up coming across as trying too hard; which again defeats the purpose of blogging. Looking at some of the contest entries, I feel that it is easy for one to be too conscious about what they write and how others might perceive the blog entry, or the writer himself. The truth is, that one a blog entry is out there, everything written will be open to interpretation of every possible visitor.

Two blog entries which has left an impression on me are B11, Uncle Sha and B19, thegreatsze. Entries with ample focus, good flow and a light sense of humor certainly frames up the whole topic that not only provides reading pleasure for visitors; it is also capable to mark yet another memorable (virtual) page inthe life of the writer.
