With the result from the revival round last Monday night, Shawn and Hui Xian managed to make their way back into the competition. The Top 10 Campus Superstars were present at Eastpoint on 21 July at 3pm, for their first meet-and-greet session as semi-finalists.

The long-awaited Top 10 then took center stage, along with host, Pornsak, and played a game of “谁是坏朋友？” (Who is the bad friend?) The game was basically to sabotage the Top 10 into revealing each other’s secrets.

Q1. Who is most playful?

The majority chose Zijie, who claimed himself to be the geek-like.

Q2. Who is the quietest?

8 of them chose cutie-pie, Hui Xian. But the sweet little one chose Marcus, who then spilled the beans regarding some rumours between Hui Xian and Benjamin

Q3. Who sleeps the most?

Once again, Zi Jie had the honour of being “crowned” for the title.

Q4. Who is the glutton?

Pornsak’s guess was Marcus, because he is always posing with food in his pictures on the CSS website. But surprisingly, it turned out to be the skinny Zheng Ning, who also admitted to her “sinful act”. Hui Xian chose her rumoured-partner-to-be, Benjamin, which resulted in Pornsak teasing them again.

Q5. Who is the blur king/queen?

Almost everyone picked Keely, which was very much proven later on, when she did not realise other semi-finalists were already getting off the stage.

Q6. Who is most likely to be the next Campus Superstar?

As usual, Shawn was “the chosen one”.

Q7. Who is the most promising semi-finalists?

Keely was chosen for her sweet looks.

For the last question, Pornsak claimed that he had to ask, so as not to risk his “rice bowl”.

Q8. Who is more handsome - Pornsak or Dasmond Koh?

After Pornsak’s constant “brain-washing”, only 2 of them daringly wrote Dasmond.

Following the question-and-answer session, it was the results of the cheer leading competition. Benjamin’s cheerleaders were awarded the second runner-up for their unique cheers, (and for not forgetting to mention something nice about Channel U). The title of ‘first runner-up’ went to Joanna’s cute genie-like cheerleaders, whilst Hui Xian’s energetic team was crowned champion of the “Bring It On Campus Superstar” Cheering Competition. Of course the fans were not here for nothing. Some of the lucky ones got a chance to play games with their Superstars. First, they played famous hand game - 海带拳, a game commonly played in Taiwan variety shows. But after 5 rounds, the host sensed a dip in interest in the game, and immediately swapped to a new game. The contestants were to dance when the music comes on and freeze when it stops. After a few innocent ones were being sabotaged and eliminated by Pornsak, the remaining ones picked up their game and became smarter. But the game would be endless if no one was going to get eliminated, so Pornsak tried all cunning means to trick them into moving. He tried interviewing them, and even tricked Agnes’s little genie into some straining pose before stopping the music. However, those didn’t work; the 2 remaining contestants did not move. Even when Pornsak announced the end of game, both of them still refused to move, thinking that it might be another trick.

The session was brought to an end after the girls had sung SHE’s 怎么办, followed by the guys’ performance of 我又初恋了, by Mayday.
