Extended Youth.SG family portrait
Help, my past won’t stop haunting me. By ‘past’, I’m referring to some Youth.SG ex-crew members whom I met last Thursday on Labour Day (how apt). I almost felt like a spy among them, seeing how I’m the only one still at Youth.SG. It was also my first time meeting our star ex-writer Melvin Ryan Tan, who brought us to a board games cafe behind Boat Quay to kill us off speed-play games.
Presenting us in tackycolour glory:
FIVE FOR SKIVING (from left): Lionheart Melvin, Scissors Sister Lai Chow, Stylo Rachel, Perpetually Stoned Alvin and Unusually Subdued-Looking Julian
Quick update on what we’ve all been up to: Melvin’s in army, Lai Chow’s still inaudible, Rachel recently quit her ***** job for a !!!!!! job, Alvin and Julian are now with SPH… and oh, Alvin and Rachel hooked up once they left Youth.SG ![]()
ONE FOR THE FAMILY! (From left): Youth.SG 1st generation webmaster Julian, 2nd generation webmaster Alvin and 3rd generation editor Lai Chow who obviously can’t count very well
Of course Youth.SG wouldn’t be Youth.SG today without these famous four (and loads more folks), and I wouldn’t have had such a good time here without the precious legacy they’ve left behind, so here’s a virtual SALUTE.
Thanks to Alvin for the photos

[…] Anyway, Lai Chow also wrote an entry about this on where else, but Youth.SG itself. It’s a much more interesting post than mine as I have always been lazy with words. Do read it. […]

A follow up to Electronic Games Flashback , you can play the games again on your PC or Pocket PC using the LEDhead Classic Electronic Handheld Game Simulator. I just downloaded it and can play Football and other games on it. Awesome!
