How far would you go?

How far would you go in joining contests and winning freebies?

Stand in the sun and rain for 81 hours with your hand attached to a car?
Last year’s Subaru Challenge winner, George Lee, did that. In fact, he placed his hand on the car for 81 hours and 31 minutes before being declared the winner. He took home the Subaru Impreza WRX worth $80,000 (that’s like… $1000 for every hour… hmmm.)

Queue up for more than 10 hours to buy the latest software for your computer?
More than 140 people queued up at Funan Centre’s Challenger till 7 minutes past midnight this morning so that they can be the first 177 customers to purchase Windows 7 at $77 (usual price $219). One couple was spotted queuing from 3.30pm.

What is considered too much?

What is the most that you’d do to participate in contests?
