It would have been Ris Low wearing this

Compared to the infamous Merlion dress and orchid dress, this year’s Miss Singapore World’s national costume definitely looks classier and less of a joke.
Said to have the influences of Chinese, Indian and Malay heritages, this year’s national costume was designed by two former beauty queens, Mrs Siti Ahmad, 33, Mrs Singapore Worldwide 2008 and Mrs Emma Ramlan, 44, Mrs Worldwide International 2002.
We’re so glad the costume doesn’t have shiny plates pretending to be scales and oversized flower petals that makes the contestants look like massive Chingay mascots.
I think this dress will avoid a massive wrath of sarcasms and cynicism.
Although having said that, the bright colours did however made me think of a certain kind of food.

Either that or I’m just too hungry.
Who loves/hates the dress?
