The Firefly Night Race team is looking for
1. Two cyclists for the race
As a cyclist, you should ideally…
- Know the basics, though you do not need to be a very experienced cyclist.
- Be able to commit from Jan 20-24. These are the race days.
- Source for your own sponsors. The team is hoping to raise a total of $100,000 and each cyclist has to find their own corporate/person on the street to match their kilometres with money. The people who pledge can be from a company doing their CSR bit or people on the streets, well wishers, friends and relatives.
2. Volunteers
As a volunteer, you should ideally…
- Be willing
- Be free on the Jan 20 as that is the flag off date!
(Special note: The team needs an experienced bike mechanic, so if you are one such person, volunteer!)

More about Firefly Night Race: it is a 1000km night cycling expedition by 10 cyclists from all walks of life in 100 hours, starting from Singapore, along the eastern coastal roads of Malaysia and into the borders of Thailand. Funds raised will go towards the ACES Creative Social Enterprise Fund to nurture the creativity of individual talents across Southeast Asia via financial resources and access to creative advisory services.
